I finally got this game yesterday....its awesome, should have gotten it earlier. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, in my most recent TDM game I notched 8 kills vs 8 deaths, my first even ratio! haha. Anyone else playing? Anyone have any tips or anything? I'm using the analog stick to fly cuz its about 100x easier, are there advantages (other than the cool factor) to use sixaxis?
 
I gotta say, if Warhawk isn't the one game that convinces me to buy a PS3, I think it'll be a major factor.
 
Its pretty fun, but i could never get the communications working. I think I might have a bad headset.
 
I really want to play warhawk, but since I don't have a PS3 I have to wait for my friend to bring his over + get the damn game.
 
Yeah, warhawk is sweet for an online only shooter. I almost got the box for some h3 mp action but picked up warhawk and pretty much this does the job. But im also playing the UT3 demo which is also kick ass. And the hellgate london beta rules to. But those are for pc 🙂
 
Warhawk is great! PS3 must have for sure.

You must use the sixaxis!! I found the controlling and fighting to be much better in the warhawk using the sixaxis. No joke, dogfighting is a ton easier once you get used to it. what I would do is just create a game and fly around not shooting for a while and manuever through all the tunnels etc, now I can hold my own in any server flying....usually. lol
The one thing that is ackward is driving, can't really get used to it but the sixaxis for flying I think at least, is the way flying should be. Learning curve is a little bit, but I think it works really, really well.
(if you are really good, you can aim and fly at the same time, not to mention the barrel rolsl and flips are a ton easier using the motion controls, if you use PRO FLIGHT, you are definitely elite in Warhawk...)
 
I agree with random. I started with sixasis and got used to it. But then went to the sticks and it seems harder.
I havent played for about a week. But im thinking ill chang it back to the motion sensor. I works really well especially while hovering.
