Here's a list of some of the updates:

Server-side updates
* Stat database stability improvements
* Improved server stability
* Max Clan limit changed from 32 to 64
* Viral Rank-up bug fixed and correct for players that were accidentally ranked up.
* ?Time-in-Vehicle? Stats fixed so certain awards can now be granted properly.

Client-side updates for Patch v1.1
* Stat connection, fetch/post fixes
* Significantly improved client connection stability
* Quad ?????? Ping display bug fixed.
* Added support for Player-Ranked Servers.
* Game synchronization fixes due to fluctuating network conditions (packet-drop).
* Crash fixes for end of game and split screen.

Apparently v1.2 should be coming out soon too, which he claims will be even better.

Also, on the Playstation forums, Jobe basically confirmed that a booster pack (rumor in GI) will be available later this year.

Well, hopefully you don't have pro-flight or motion sensing on. Those are hardest to learn with.

Flying a Warhawk just takes a lot of practice...Here are a few generic tips I could give:

1. Always remember that you can lock on up to 8 of the swarm missiles at once. If you have 5 or 6 hit (you need to be fairly close), it will likely kill them.

2. For the turret on the warhawk, if the aiming reticule is red (and stays red on the enemy), your turret should do a sort of auto-aim/fire at the other Warhawk (as in the bullets almost follow them, making it much easier to do kills that way).

3. If missiles are locked on to you, do a boost (double tap R2), barrel roll, ascend (and usually do a 180 sort of thing), etc. Just go crazy while still covering some air (if you go crazy without actually traveling very much, the missiles will usually still hit you).

4. If you see two missiles locked on, it's likely a missile turret. Use a chaff, or just get away as fast as possible. Same for a one missile lock on (usually a rocket or homing missile).

5. Use the surroundings to your advantage. Missiles aren't smart enough to avoid mountains.

6. Is a tank or turret giving you or your troops trouble? Get a TOW missile and use that.

7. If you decide to take on a tank (in hover mode), do NOT stop! You need to be continuously moving to keep them from hitting you.

8. If you're trying to dodge missiles, the worst thing you can do is an attempt to land to shake them off. They usually kill you right as you land.

9. Sniper rifles can kill a Warhawk in 2-3 shots. Watch out for that.

Those are about the only tips I can give. The rest is just practice and mastering it.

Really? I thought they were pretty impressive if you looked at the game as a whole. Huge, fairly detailed environments, great draw distance, volumetric clouds, decent textures (especially on character models and some vehicles), nice looking water, good use of shaders/bump mapping (especially for shadows/details on terrain), etc. I thought the lighting and shadow effects were pretty impressive. Nearly everything gives off what seems to be a real-time shadow, and the shadows are pretty good looking (especially how they look when cast on everything else, such as your character). Also, the lighting gives each level a distinct feel, especially in Eucadia (the evening look).

Technically, there's nothing AMAZING about the graphics, especially if you look at one part. Things range from decent to pretty good. However, it's pretty impressive how everything comes together, especially with the large scale of the game. Also, it has a very smooth framerate and rarely (if ever) drops.
