Its a pity they are making it based on the comparatively unpopular Warhammer Fantasy universe.

Although, with the amount of violence you can pack into a Warhammer 40,000 game/trailer.... it would probably have had a 15 or higher rating.

there's already a rts game based on the sci-fi version. there is also a fantasy warhammer mmorpg in thew works. must not be that unpopular.

DoW - it's fun. when i get used to it more, ill buy the expansion.

the DoW expansion is awesome. I'm not sure if the changes in the expansion are also applied to regular DoW - the tech trees are VERY different in some cases.

imperial guard are pretty cool, but they absolutely need vehicles - they have the best vehicles in the game, whether it's anti-tank or anti-personnel.

I never said WH40k was unpopular. Ive followed WH40k since Gremlins Space Crusade in 1992/1993, read the Ultramarines Omnibus and all 9 Gaunts Ghosts novels to date. Its hardly unpopular.

The Warhammer Fantasy universe is no where near as popular in comparison to Warhammer 40,000.

Which is unfortunate as WHFB is a VASTLY superior game (I'm talking tabletop here).

Actually in GW's biggest market (UK and Europe) Fantasy is MUCH more popular than 40k. US is an exception not the rule.

Really? Ive walked past several Games Workshop stores here and they are packed out with 40k stuff, not Fantasy stuff.

Pontifex: I fail to see what you are getting at. In my opinion, a WH40k based MMO would do better than a WH Fantasy based game would and thats exactly what Ive said in that in my first post.

QFT..
It still surprises me when someone with a high post count doesn't include a link though it seems to happen more often than it should.

I swear half of the threads on here are just people telling other people to use Google.

I, too, am interested in this game. The latest PC Gamer has a small article on it with some screenshots.
