What happen to the Wards website? I can normally get the updated sale ads for each week on there. I tried going there a few minutes ago, but no luck. Anyone have any listing for the wards going out of business sales ads? Man, I've been trying to wait for their home theatre systems to go down. I'm looking to spend $250 and down for one, but so far Wards seems liek that only place I can do that. Anyways, anyone know what's goign on with the wards website or have any phsyical ads for this week? Or where can I look to find the ads?

I was at the local Wards B&M this weekend.....all electronics are still only 10% off.....no great deals as of yet. What is worse is all their Admiral stuff is only marked 10% off and you get NO WARRANTY, being that Admiral was their own stuff.....I did pick up a nice solid cherry wood bunkbed and dresser for my son for only 340.00....excellent find....last one in box. They also have some good deals on desks and entertainment centers....I know there have been quite a few post today about desks and I thought I might share the info....glad you started the post.....Nice computer armoire...for 149.99.....solid unit, stood about 51/2 ft tall....and a real nice "L" shaped desk with a large built-in storage unit that could probably double as a stereo cabinet and it locks too but price was still too high at 349.99, some decent deals on large home appliances if you are in the market i.e. refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves....saw a very nice Whirlpool in wall double oven for 600.00, half of retail...but too large for space......anyway enough for now....

They are going out of business! Beware!!! They have been ripping ppl off in the B&M stores big time. Selling used/returned merchandise as new. issueing credits/gift certs and refusing to honor them. It was in the newspapers down in Philly how they were really screwing ppl and they didn't seem to card. Yes they are rasing the prices and then slashing a percentage, but it still comes to normal price. I have even of ppl buying stuff and getting it delivered....then it never shows and they act as if it's your prob no theirs.

Often, when a chain goes out of business, they sell all of their inventory to a liquidator who then runs the going out of business sale. The liquidator will mark up prices (just to mark them down), bring in their own merchandise, and usually won't honor gc's or store credits. Sounds like this is what is going on here.
