Ah, codes / urls for coupons are frowned upone here. Read the rules before posting!

simso.com's shipping price is $10
staples usually adds that in and then calculates the discount so it'd be more like $35

WC3 is 44.99 starting at Staples today - use this coupon and you get it 29.99 out the door no questions asked - seems better than having to "BS" a perfectly legit store that (I would think somewhat unexpectedly) puts out some amazing deals.

are you just giving the staples store the coupon code or was there actually a printable coupon?

Coupons are supposed to be used in calculating the PM price - ie, Staples price is $44.99, with coupon it's $29.99 - therefore you can't pricematch it

"supposed to" being the key words there. It's always possible to run into an employee who doesn't remember the details. But I agree wholeheartedly that trying to pull a stunt like this for a few bucks more is foolish and unnecessary. Not only do you have to get them to ignore the shipping cost, but also the fact that coupons aren't usable in PMs. That's really pushing it. Unfortunately, as mentioned, the printable coupon expired on the 3rd, so no $30 WC3 from Staples for the moment.

Ok just started reading all of the negative commentary about my post... first of all, this WAS my first hot deal post so go easy on me  Secondly, Staples DOES stack coupons with pricematch and I have done this multiple times with no problems. I don't know anything about the 44 dollar War 3 thing but if it is then just sue a coupon and get it for like $29. The link I gave was http://www.computerlandcentral.com/staplescoupons..htm The coupon code is in the August section near the bottom of the apge. I hope this answers all your questions.

hmmmm...staples.com lists a 15 off coupon code in the warcraft III product description making it $44, but it doesn't work. I get an error saying my order needs to be 59.99 and the game is 59.95. 4 cents short :( Hopefully they will fix it by tomorrow morning.

First off, corporate policy is they are NOT supposed to stack coupons, and second off, again like I said above, $44.99 - $15 = $29.99, which is lower than the other price, therefore a PM should not happen. If you manage to get a cashier who will do it then good for you but don't tell everyone it will work when it won't for everyone.

Good luck getting Staples to accept both a coupon and PM, I know it's possible but not in these neck of the woods.

I think people are confusing $15 dollar coupons. There is currently one out now that expires on 8/10 for WCIII, but it may be online only. Yes, it is broken atm because it expects WCIII to be $59.99 when it's actually $59.95 on their website.

Now this $44.99 price, is that B&M only? Anyone try printing the page of the item (with coupon code) and try to use it at a B&M? If that works, then it'll be $44.99 - $15 = $29.99.
