Warcraft 3

I'm just a big fan of Warcraft 3, and I've finally gotten decently good at it. Anyone share the enthusiasm? I play on b.net. I'll post more stuff if anyone actually plays it.

it's all about TFT.... vanilla is like half-assed in terms of balancing due to its natural expansion and Blizzard is fully devoted to balancing the expansion now.

I haven't played in a while, but I did play the original RoC on b.net. I owned on the smallest map w/ orcs.

O yes...the competition is tough. I really liked the sinlge player missions and story line, but when ever I play against the computer I lose big time.

I'm really looking forward to playing World of Warcraft.

Yes, I love the b.net mod custom games, like DOTA (Defense of the Ancients)!! I am pretty good at that, and the "Mauls" or "TD's" are great fun. Especially Alcohol and Weed Mauls. Regular Warcraft is fun too, there are so many counters it makes your head spin...

I used to be level 14 with around 80% win before TFT came out...
Haven't played in a long time though, I don't think my account exists anymore.

I pretty much only play Tides of Blood and Tower defense maps now.

It's expansion.
Play a lot last year.

Now busy with SWG.
Can't wait for WoW

It's tough on Hard single player, that's for sure. I'm on the second scenario, second level. It starts off really BAD.

i love it also, but i don;t play it as much, i play Unreal 2 XMP but when i want to make a huge army, raid and pilage then i go to wc3 Frozen throne

Just recently reinstalled and started playing td's again. Fortunately even though my cable is really crappy latency wise right now(I cant play halflife) I can still play good old td's. I only ended up playing single player on the expansion. Dont have it to play multi right now.

yeah td maps are awesome, but once you beat them you don't want to play them any more

good rpgs are good to find, especially ones that people don't bother to balance based on number of players (this goes for TD maps too)

yeah, high end TFT isnt for those lacking strategic thinking ability...Strategy games arent mass the best unit as fast as possible anymore. Its about managing troops and scouting/countering.

At level 14+ I find it damned hard to keep up because there are always new ways people come up with to dominate the games.

It has always been about managing your micro and scouting.

I use to emulate Arch(I)monde in ROC. I was on the ladder for a while.

I tried to get into Warcraft III but couldn't. SP is pretty good but MP is weak and restrictive.

I played warcraft original and tft online and really tried at liking it but i just never got into it. Starcraft forever!!!
