Post up your favorite race and build/troop strategies..

I primarily use Night Elves usually with a 1:2 ratio of huntress:archers when I'm playing alone. My first hero is the Priestess mainly for her Trueshot Aura and Scout (for expansions) when playing against humans. I bring out the Keeper of the Grove later on when resources allow me to.

What's the best way to counter seige tanks? Those things have crazy armor..

Well, the priestess is a bad starting hero because she doesn't have any good abilities. I think her only good ability is the true-shot aura, and that is not even that good. For instance, if you use the demon hunter, he can basically immolate as well as absorb a ton of damage before running away. I have seen a lone demon hunter take out 5 footsmen.
Sum it up: the priestess is suck because other heros are much better.

What's better? Having 10 huntresses/archers with +6 to attack? Or immolation?

By the time my priestess is level 3 from creeping, my Keeper of the Grove comes out with Entangle. Immolation is useless when huntresses/archers are attacking the demon hunter when he's stuck.

Playing in a map full of mines, just putting one point on the owl scout helps in finding expansions before they're completely built.

The demon hunter is a good single hero fighting by himself.. but in most cases it isn't.. I guess it's all in preference then.. but I usually find Starfall/Tranquility combo more useful..

Usually I play 1v1 ladder and the games last ~15 mins. I don't even have time to build 2 heros. If you're getting 2 heros then you must be gettting your ass handed to you on a plater. Is that why you're here asking for WC3 Strats?

I rarely ever build 2 heroes for 1v1 situations. Just not enough time and the cost/food isn't worth it for such short games. As far as my heroes go:

NE: POTM
Human: Archmage
Orc: Farseer
Undead: Dreadlord

yea prob with priestess as 1st hero is her survivability sucks:p if they aim for her ur trueshot is gone pretty quick. she's good as a 2nd hero.

I don't play 1vs1.. I have 2-3 other guys in the house that play with me.. hence, that other post with the router prob. 1vs1 I'd totally go for offensive demon hunter...

From my experience, the priestess survives longer than the other two heroes. Unless the enemy's army has air units, the NE's huntress army would block up the path while the priestess attacks from range..

What's the unbalance after the latest update? and what's up with all the bitter/cocky players? I'm just tryin to create a thread with good wc strats from AT people, but I guess everyone's afraid that someone is gonna find a way to counter their strats.. so they just thread craaaap.

Actually all the heroes are pretty evenly matched. The Priestess is very hard to kill b/c she is a ranged unit and can turn invisible at night. She can be invisible and units around her still get the benefit of her aura.

I use orcs but I've seen NE's send in the Keeper in the vary beginning of the game and entangle peons, run away, recharge mana, come back entangle peons. over and over. peons die in one entaglement. it's a good way to harrass and irritate your opponent :)

Yeah, the level of maturity in this thread is quite low.
