Ok here is the story. I have Reign of Choas CD that i bought a long time ago. I havent played the game in forever but I just went to a lan and we played frozen thrones a lot nad it was really fun..Some DOTA as well. Now..I have the orignal CD but I lost the CD key(I lose everything). Please lock this if this is too warez for this forum but if I use a random CD key for Riegn of Choas and buy Frozen Throne and use that CD key will i be able to get on Bnet?

I am not trying to rip anyone off I just dont want to buy the game again.

What do you think?

No, you wouldn't be able to get on Bnet.

Warcraft 3 RoC can be had from $10-15 shipped, either at for sale/trade thread or ebay... it's pretty much dirt cheap nowadays and I'd get it.

First off, I think it's likely that Battlenet will verify both keys. When I played Diablo 2 with LOD expansion I read that it would verify both keys. Even if you DID manage to play using a generated key, the chance exists that it would be a key that belongs to another user, and you would be depriving the rightful owner the chance to play. So basically, do not attempt this.

In other news, my upcoming for sale thread shall have the Battlechest with both keys for $16.
