Anyone else that is on the beta having as much fun with the tome bug as I am? It makes the game like hero arena plus armies and normal infrastructure. It is fantastic having nearly invincible heroes.

For those unaware, the new tome system doesn't let you hold tomes. You pick them up and they disappear but if you queue pick-ups, it doesn't register the disappear until the queue is empty.
 
yeah, I was in the 3rd wave of testers. only played a few games so far as orc. That new undead hero looks pretty awesome though 🙂
 
Hes talking about Warcraft: The Frozen Throne, the upcoming expansion pack (like Brood War was for Starcraft) that is in Beta right now.

I see how you can abuse the tomes, but how are these people getting lvl 10 heros? Or how are they getting ALL their stats maxed?

Abuse tomes of exp, tomes of knowledge, tomes of agi,stri,int or manual of health.
 
Is there any other way to get these than just creeping? I just played a game and in the first 5 minutes one of the guys had a lvl 10 blademaster, and the other guy had a lvl 4 something or other with ALL stats MAXXED.
 
You only get tomes from creeping. They aren't sold in any shops to my knowledge. If you know the right creeps though, you can kill the right one, then back off and get the tome real quickly early in the game to get upgraded.
