Warcraft 3 and Kyro II graphics corruption

I have my Warcraft 3 Beta updated with the latest patch and have the newest drivers for my video card, yet the graphics seem to be corrupted when I launch the game, this happens on the opening screen as well as the rest of the game. I ran the wc3 video test utility Blizzard has posted on their site and the test graphics show the same problem. I don't know what else to do, b/c a while ago wc3 worked fine but after some time I began to have this problem. Here's my specs:

Hercules Prophet 4500 64mb KyroII (is listed on the wc3 compatibility list on blizzard's site).
Athlon XP 1700+ (i have the amd registry patch installed, and that has nothing to do with this problem anyway)
Windows 2000 Pro
256mb

Have you tried going back to the tested driver (1.04.14.0028)?

This driver is the one listed on the Video Compatibility table.

Well that's the driver listed for KyroII (my chipset), but under Hercules, there's a listing for Prophet 4500 which is exactly my card, and the driver version listed there is 15.084 which is the latest and the one I tried.

I had a similar problem... Downloading the newest 4-in-1 drivers for my via mobo fixed this.... So try that if you have a via mobo.. Im using the newest kyro2 drivers from hercules' website.
