"War of the Worlds" [TV-Series 1988-1990] - Did anyone else watch this show?

I remember watching that show back in elementary school and thought it was awesome. It was on KCOP 13 in L.A. and it wasn't UPN then so it must have been a syndicated show.

It only ran 2 seasons and the first was much better than the second. After it went off the air I don't recall ever seeing any reruns, not even on Sci-Fi Channel years later.

To this date I haven't met a single person that has heard of this show so I guess it's no surprise that it didn't last long. I figured maybe here at least one other person would have seen it and remember it.

the 1st seaon was good, but the second season had almost a complete cast change and show restructuring if i remember right, and that is what killed it.

Now a show that most prob don't remember was Kindred.

I think you are right. It was almost another show in that second season.

 
Yea I watched that show when I was a kid. It seemed to have changed between seasons - at first, a lot of emphasis was put onto the aliens that jumped from body to boy like they were suits. But I remember in the later season, they were more just people that were possessed with alien intelligence I think, who were focused on finding ways to infect more humans with these spore things that would grow into more aliens.

Yep I remember Black Raven. And then there was Time Trax, and I remember Fred Krueger's Nightmare series.
 
which show was the one with the guy, girl and old guy trying to get back the cursed antiques that someones evil ancestor sold out of an antiques shop?

It wasok but does any one remember the mini series "V"

That freaked me out when I was a kid.

Friday the 13th: the series

It was Canadian. I liked it even though it got a little silly.

Robey was seriously hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
