Do these things work at all. I set up a wireless access point at home, and i am thinking about taking it to school when i go back. Im sure it will work within the dorm, but i was hoping to be able to use it in other peoples rooms, or in the lounge. The problem is that the walls are all concrete so I know it will be hard getting a signal. Do these range booster things work at all? If so, which ones are the best? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let say you have an open space Warehouse 200' long. You use Wireless, but pass 150? it is not stable.

You install a booster on the Router's output, and you will get better signal at 200'.

However if you are in a home or regular office with walls and obstructions, your Wireless Router is somewhere in the corner of your room and you put a booster. The result will be an additional few feet.

You probably better off buying an additional Access Point, or a Wireless Cable/DSL Router to be used as an additional Access Point.
