WAOH i cant watch a channel while another is being recorded ?

WAOH i cant watch a channel while another is being recorded ?
This was one of the reasons my parents (and I) wanted this receiver
Is it because both of the SAT in connections in the back are not connected ?

nvm got the answer if the receiver is running in single you can use one tuner to record while the other you can use to watch TV

so yes both connections need to be connected
