On the Windows Xp drop down menus on their toolbars, how do I FULLY open the drop down menu with one click rather than getting the double downward arrow which I must then click again to drop down the menu all the way?

Thanks.

Right Click on task bar -> Properies -> Start Menu -> Customize -> Advanced Menu Options -> [Uncheck] Use Personalized Menus

Unfortunately, that only stops it on the start menu - not inside programs.

OP: You'll mostly only see this feature in microsoft programs, and there is usually a setting inside the program to shut it off:

Word:
Tools -> Customize -> Options -> Always show full menus

What the hell are you talking about?

If you go into Windows Explorer, then click on the down arrow on the address bar, it shows you different drives/folders you can browse. You have to scroll the list that comes up if there are more than a certain number of items listed.

I don't think that's what he's talking about at all. It sounds like he's talking about adaptive menus on the Start Menu.
