I know it is kind of pointless to get rid of the SB processor and the motherboard has been a very very reliable one. I was thinking of adding a second SSD in Raid to up my access speed and overall performance. Another idea was upgrading the case because for some reason the 912 is a dust magnet. lol

I was also thinking going fanless, any good watercooling solutions? I like to build them myself so none of those closed loop suggestions please 🙂

I don't think you'd actually notice an improvement by RAIDing two SSDs. Those improvements are mostly synthetic as far as I've seen, not to mention you'd then have to reinstall everything and you increase the chance of failure.

I guess watercooling could be a logical step for you since you are pushing your OC reasonably far. How loud is your current setup? Does the noise bother you?

My current setup isn't loud at all but I can push this chip to 4.9ghz @ 1.4 I just need extra cooling. Not to mention its a great adventure to get up!!!

Doing a custom loop can be fun, and it is a great hobby and safe, VS taking your crotch rocket on the highway for a 150mph joy ride.

There is a cooling section you can bring this up on. The expert H20 cooling guys usually hang out around there. Now and then, some guy with a big head comes around the general hardware section and throws out vague suggestions and then usually brags about his rig then goes and hides back in the h20 section.. good luck with that guy, pfff
