I recently called Houston RR about a student discount plan. if anybody could help, this would drop the price to $30 a month. all you have to do is call in and ask them about. the more people that call in would bring it to their attention that a lot of people would appreciate this discount. i am sorry if this isn't the right forum but this forums is always being read. hot deal if it does come true though....

I do believe SBC (PacBell, others) also gives student rates for their DSL service.

I wish we had some deal on broad band in tucson arizona. my monthly bills are killing me.

I know that PacBell SBC has a discount for Community college students in CA. Its $37 instead of $50 per month.

RR in Binghamton, NY (Upstate) does give a student discount for cable modem now! I think they stroke a deal with Binghamton University, but I am not too sure.
