Where is the best B/M place to get models. I want to start building some as in battle ships, aircraft carriers, subs. etc.
 
i had a teacher in HS many years ago that built around 20 resin battleships and had them lying around class. The battleships definitely garnered the most attention.

As for where to buy them, i can think of USA Hobbies and Hobby Shaq in Southern California. There's quite a few places but most of them are privately owned, so you're better off going on a trusted brand and checking out ebay.
 
Why not build the entire carrier battle group (including aircraft carrier, battleships, subs, freighters, etc...)? It would be cool to have them all sit in formation...
 
Toys 'R Us had a limited selection last time I looked...might want to check there. Otherwise i'd look up hobby stores in your local yellow pages.

I used to models all the time. since my daughter has been born i do not really have time to do them. But i enjoyed doing cars and battleships. every now and then do a plane. the b-52 bomber is the best.
