Wanting new case

I want to get a new case so that I can do some case mods, but I have never built a system before. I have always had someone do it for me. Is it hard to transfer my components to another case? The only thing that I can think of is to make sure the case is big enough to house the components that I have and plan to get. Or is that even correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Puting together a computer is really easy. Just remember how you took it out of the old case and you should be fine. Make sure to put the mobo stand offs.

You could always take pictures of where things go if you don't think you'll remember.

Alternatively, take bits out and replace them in the current box, so you get an idea of what connects to what.

It's very easy though, I mean, the majority of connections only fit in one place anyway, so if all else fails, keep jabbing stuff in holes until it fits! (j/k) 😛

Thank you for all of your guys help, I guess it really should be a no brainer if I just take it out and put it in another case.
