Wanting bassy low emission headphones

Hey guys, I'm going to an on-campus apartment in the fall. I can't really have an audio system at the sound levels I like. So I'm considering in ear monitors as I need them to be as isolated as possible from others. In other words, other people don't need to hear me playing my music. I listen mostly to rap music, but I also listen to pretty much everything else, including country, blues, electronika, rock, and classical.

I was considering the Super.fi 5 EB's for the bass response. Is there any difference between the white "iPod" version here, http://www.datavis.com/cgi-bin...0&prrfnbr=455557&tab=2 and the black version here? http://www.provantage.com/ulti...sb0007-02~7ULTE00N.htm

I like black better, but the money savings makes me lean towards white if there isn't a physical difference.

Any other good suggestion? Thanks guys.

They are the same. You pay more for black because white is so freaking iPod cliche.

Thanks for the response Oyeve. I noticed even more oddities though. There's two part numbers. IF-P5ESW0007-02 and the IF-P5ESW0003-02. I *think* the 7 has a case that comes with it. I'll find out soon enough, I asked a few friends and they got me in on a deal for the IF-P5ESB0007-02, which is the same ones in black. I'll let you guys know around Monday or Tuesday if they come with a case unless someone can go ahead and tell me the difference. Thanks for your help guys. This is my first pair of headphones that cost more than $20, and I hope I'm impressed with them.

I have the EBs and like them quite a bit. Not one complaint really. I do have white, I got them from ecost for 92 shipped.

Got them in today. Took a moment to find a good eartip and yes they do come with a nice aluminum case. OMGZORZ!!!!one!!one x infinity!! Am I super impressed This performs a hell of a lot better than my home theatre system. Taking them in and out is a pain but once they're in omg, i didn't think bass like that in a headphone was possible!
