Wanted: suggestions for cooling a bookPC

My bookPC with Cel 500 runs extemely hot (around 62 degrees Celsius). I have an Athlon 800 system that runs at half this temp so I am a little worried. The bookPC runs stably most of the time. Would arctic silver on the heatsink help (and if so, how much?). The case is so small I can't increase the size of the heatsink/fan at all.

I had a BookPC until just the other day and it ran hot too. I sold it. I have a draft of an email I sent to the buyer with more info on cooling them, and I'll forward that to the email address you have listed in your Profile, along with a .zip file that has some photos in .jpg format.

Just for starters, make sure the vents aren't obstructed. I think the best orientation is to have it standing up tower-style with the power supply at the top. Make sure it's on its plastic pedestals so that the bottom vents can draw air. The rest is somewhat more involved, have a look at your email in a couple minutes.
