What knid of car you currently drive that keeps getting police attention ? ?
It's not red, is it ? ? ? And you can easily put a speed limiter on the car.
Any good speed shop or top notch mechanic will know what to do. It
can be as simple as a mechanical limit or an electronic limit.

You should also look at: http://speedtrap.org/

They list a whole lot of known speed trap locations. If you know where
they usually set up, you can be more aware of them.

In a VW Beetle, you wouldn't want to go 70 even if you could.

stock, yes.

modded...holy hell. The rear end of these cars is like born to drag...I have seen some that seem mild, but will lift the front wheels off the ground with a Porsche powerplant or other.

Personally I don't care for the bug...

get a radar detector... oh wait its illegal in california.... i'd just get it anyways lol.

Umm the only state that it is illegal to operate a radar detector is Virginia and Washington D.C.

yeah I am sick of playing cat and mouse with police though. i had a radar detector and it just made driving even more stressful.

It's a lifesaver. I don't speed excessively (never over 10mph over the limit), but when I drive out of LA county, the cops don't receive enough revenue, forcing them to make speedtraps even on streets. It saved me 5 times on my Big Bear trip and 4 on a trip to Pismo Beach (101 ftl).
