Want Win10 OEM ASAP for new build

New Egg, I believe, went from listing the release date as 7-29 to now listing it as 7-31.

This makes me think that it may get pushed back or that there will not be enough inventory for me to get a copy right away.

I was hoping to avoid upgrading to Win10; due to, what I think might be, registry problems and other inefficiencies.

I need to have the system up and running the first week of July.

What do you suggest?

😕

Have you ever run into such problems when upgrading Windows. The last Windows upgrade I did that felt slower than a clean install was 95 to 98. To answer your question, if you are not in the Insider program, you will have to wait.

You've already failed since we're in the last week of July.

Keep in mind that MS sells copies digitally through their store. If you want it on the 29th ordering it that way shouldn't be an issue.

Ya, that's why I need this machine so bad, and I'm not talking about a time machine; my current system lags so much that when I click on the clock at the lower left of my screen, it tells me that it is June 29th 2014.

😀

That sounds like it would work perfectly fine.

So, can I just use a different computer and burn it to a CD?

So, a good start would be to set your date and time correctly.
