My all time FAVE credit card contest was the one... forget if it was Visa or MasterCard... the one where the more you spent, the better chance you had to win all that cards bills paid for a year. And I laughed at the thought of all those ppl that were racking up huge charges for a chance to win. If you win, you got all the bills paid for a year. If you did not win, you got stuck with a sh*t load of credit cards bill you racked up trying to win.

:)

value is between 240000 - 360000.

taxes are gonna be 50% + state taxes(if ur state has it). so i guess after hopefully selling 8 cars(to pay taxes) you will be left over with 4. these are GM cars so value might be lower and you might need to sell 10 cars to cover the taxes. That is if you sell the 8 cars in the first place.

or you can donate them all to charity.

I can't afford that taxes on that ish. I would sell them but then probably have to pay more taxes on the money I made from that.

What a waste of the contest, it'd be smarter to just give away $250,000. I'll buy myself 1 car and save the rest for something worthwhile.

huh? How are taxes for 12 cars going to cancel out the profit from the sale of those cars?

I didn't say it would cancel out the profit, I'm just saying you wouldn't get nearly as much as if they were just giving a cash prize.

Im pretty ignorant about taxes, but wouldn't they just tap you on income tax from the sale of the cars? Which would be the same as if you just got cash?
