Want to upgrade to 7800GT

Check around MonarchComputer, ZipZoomFly, Newegg, and eVGA.com and see if any of them still have that eVGA mobo+7800GT deal still going on. Newegg had that deal going on for $359.00 a few days ago but it sold out in 24 hours. It's pretty hot stuff so you should check pretty often to catch it when it comes back.

You can also get a 3200 or a 3000. The 3500 has 20% increase in performance over the 3000 and 50% increase in cost. It's the GPU that defines modern games, not CPU (gives you increase in fps only, no extra goodies like shaders and AA). Get an expensive CPU only if you have a large display to match.

Since you're NOT OCing, you can get a Sonata II for ~$100. It comes w/ a 450W antec Smartpower 2.0. My sonata looks sharp and treats me good. Plus, the case and PSU is quiet. The PSU is solid but not good enough for overclocking though...
 
Sonata II if you like silence and not overclocking. I haven't heard reviews of those parts you picked out, but I'm pretty sure they are solid (reputable companies).

That 7800GT looks like a steal. But I would still keep and eye out at Newegg for that mobo+7800GT deal to come back up till the minute you press the order button.

I e-mailed newegg.. And well, the deal is done. They said it ended the 16th of September. So for those waiting for it to come back, ITS NOT HAPPENING.
