I haven't been looking at graphic cards since I bought my 9700 pro so I'm really out of it.

In terms of the X800 series, what's the lowest performing class? is it the XL or the Pro?
As for the 6800 series or 6600 series, what's the order of performance? Between ATi and NVidia, which one should I get, why? I'm not looking to overclock if that helps and I'm looking for an AGP card, not PCI-e.

Thanks guys!!

X800 XL has 16 pipes, Pro has 12. Nvidia 6800GT is roughly equivalent in performance to the X800 XL in power, but has Shader Model 3.0 support, while the ATI card does not.

Thanks for the links. I'm probably going to upgrade to X800XL.
I can get BBA X800XL here locally for $299 + tax, so I'm guessing that should be a good deal even though it's the retail price.

X800 line:
X850XTPE ($550) > X800XTPE ($500) > X800XL (~$300) > X800 Pro ($400).

nvidia line:
6800 Ultra ($500) > 6800GT ($400) > 6800 ($300) = 6600GT ($180).

I'd say the best pricepoints are the X800XL at $300-350 and the 6600GT at $180. The 6600GT is slightly faster than a 9800XT. The X800XL and 6800GT are about twice as fast as a 6600GT, but obviously they cost around twice as much.
