Want to update my BIOS

I tried to run Asusupdate, it has some error about windows NT upon launch.

I was like "oh....k..."

So, I went to Asus' website, and I tried to download a new version of Asusupdate, it informs me that it doesn't find an Asus motherboard.

Now, I'm using an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, any ideas what I could do so that I could run asusupdate? Or any clue what would cause it to think I'm not using an Asus motherboard?

I assume you did the download on the asus machine?

I remember doing a bios download to my other machine for my 2nd machine once and even though I didn't initiate the program ..somehow it go confused when I brought bios flash over to 2nd machine and thought I was still on first machine. So it ID' ed my mb wrong.
So I had to redownload on 2nd machine to flash bios and it was fine.

May not relate to your problem, but thats the one time I have seen a bios flash id the machine improperly ..gl

Install the Asus mobo drivers.
