Want to uninstall "trial version" of Office

Got a new Thinkpad preinstalled with a 2-week trial version of Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager.

I never set up the trial but I didn't uninstall it either. Instead I installed my own copy of Microsoft Office Home & Student version.

Now the fun begins. I want to purge the trial version from the laptop. Which programs exactly to I uninstall?

Here's what shows up in Control Panel:

2007 Microsoft Office System
Activation Assistant for the 2007 Microsoft Office suites
Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007
Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components
Microsoft Office 2007 Primarly Interop Assemblies
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007
Microsoft Office Small Business Connectivity Components

I suspect it's ok to uninstall everything except #6 (Home and Student). That's the only one with the later "Installed on" date ...but thought I'd check here first. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks in advance as always.

Uninstall everything including your stuff.

Delete the directories just in case.

Reinstall your stuff.

OK will do.

STUPID FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: I assume Microsoft is smart enough to know when I uninstall and reinstall that it won't count as 2 of the 3 PCs I'm allowed to install on?

Should not be an issue. And if it is, just call and explain that you installed it on that computer in error
and it has been uninstalled and moved to your other computer. They will reactivate if, if needed.
And as to the uninstall you have two choices:

From Add / Remove Programs, uninstall anything to do with Office 2007 Outlook and Business Contact Manager

Then see if the rest of Office works ok ... If needed do a repair install of the Office you want to use.

Uninstalled all 6 items other than "Home & Student" and everything seems to be fine.

Thanks for your input everybody.
