Want to uninstall Service Pack 2, but it no longer shows up in Add/Remove Programs! What can I do?

Want to upgrade my XP Home Edition to XP Pro but when I try it says the "current Windows installed is newer than the CD." I successfully upgraded my work machine by uninstalling Service Pack 2 - afterwards my XP Pro CD worked.

But when I go to Add/Remove programs on my machine at home Service Pack 2 isn't there anymore. It used to be a few months ago, but I think updates since then have caused it to disappear....

Is there another way to uninstall SP2? Thanks in advance...!

Instead of uninstalling SP2, try slipstreaming SP2 onto your XP Professional CD. Just search the forums or Google for "slipstream xp sp2" and you'll find plenty of helpful guides.
