Want to try Vista RC2, what can I use to setup a Dual Boot?

I want to try out Vista RC2 to see how it runs. Can someone reccomend a program I can use so that I can keep my current Windows XP on my Computer and have an option to pick either one when the computer starts? I know programs exist. I just wanted to try it out.

Vista automatically installs a boot loader that allows you to do that.

Same HD? If so, is the partition for Vista already created?

Different HD?

SATA drives on a system that requires drivers?

so I have to create a separate partition I assume if its the same harddrive. If its a different harddrive I will have the option of which one to pick when the computer boots up?

Yes (to both questions).

You will need a partition all ready setup, but not formatted or a second hard drive. I didn't need sata drivers when i did my install. it work nice.

Vista will automatically give you the option to select which operating system you want to boot to.

Anyone know how to set the boot manager to put xp on default?

Control panel,System maintance,System,Advanced system settings,Startup & recovery & select from there.
