Hi i have a Pentium 4 with a few repaired bent pins that i would like to test out if it is still kicking. I don't won't to build an entire system to find out.
ps. i don't have a heatsink for it yet either, and don't want to buy one if the cpu is a dud. tanks.

Well you would need a motherboard, a stick of ram, a video card or integrated graphics, a power supply, and you have to have a heatsink, Aboslutly DO NOT turn it on if you don't have a heatsink on the CPU, thats a quick way to fry it.
