I just built a PC that I thought I might want to overclock so I bought the over-clockable Intel core i7 4770K "K" version. I am not a gamer and have never tried to overclock it. I have been trying to set up a virtual machine and Gigabyte just told me that the "K" version does not support Microsoft Hyper-V. I built this PC the last week of February, 2014. I am retired and use it for personal use only. I ran the Intel Processor Identification utility and it says NO to the Intel Virtualization Technology.
Anybody interested in swapping an Intel Core i7 Quadcore 4770 for a Core i7 4770k? I'm located in Hemet, CA.
Thanks,
Art
