Hi, I' trying to re-attach a heat sink to a chip that is on my ECS board (relax, not to the CPU) and I was wondering if any of you could recommend a type of glue that is best for this.

It was on there when I bought it from a guy and I accidentally knocked it off when I was installing a PSU.

If anybody can suggest a type of glue I can use without risking any damage to my board, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm assuming this is a chipset heatsink. Most of them have pushpins that attach it to the board. You can however use thermal tape or you can use themal paste (like Artic Silver) and then put a small dap of superglue on each corner to attach the heatsink.
