Want to start a SharePoint server - sandbox installation. Will this machine work?

I've got a spare Dell PowerEdge server laying around. I'd like to try and see if SharePoint would help us out here at work, but I'm not sure my hardware supports it. Anybody have any knowledge/tips?

Here's my old server specs:

Poweredge 2650
Processor is Dual Xeons, 80532K, 3.06GHz, 512K 533
4 gigs memory
Plenty of 146 gig 10k drives.

Anybody know if it will work as a sandbox to see if we should commit to a more modern server install?

Thanks in advance!

It's enough for a sandbox all-in-one installation. I have a sharepoint2010 installation running on a pretty shitty VM, but don't expect to be able to span it out or have a lot of stuff on it. How many people are you serving and what are you using it for?

Right now, max 10 users. Want to start just serving and organizing documents (Less than a gig of PDFs, but a lot of the value would be in creating some custom database type modules.

Will that server do 64 bit? Thats probably the biggest requirement there for a sandbox.
