It took me forever to type all that out.

Fausto spotted! But who's the OTHER guy!?
I was maybe three seconds behind on Sat and less than a second behind on Sunday. Of course, when you're sprinting at 35mph, a second is a lot of places. I placed higher on Sat than I did on Sunday because of this.Originally posted by: KK

That's not fausto, this is fausto.
Anyways, how much time difference is there between the winner and what you are placing at?
I may visit a friend in Jersey (and do some racing while there) later in the summer.Originally posted by: moshquerade

I'll have to see if my teammates got any. I didn't have my wife around to wield the camera this weekend.Originally posted by: moshquerade

Okay, I'm just going to stop typing out the longass race reports. I'm getting the impression that the big words are off-putting for most of AT.![]()
You're Belgian. I could draw a bike on a brick and you'd think it was cool.Originally posted by: freegeeks

that's a negative, keep them coming. It's entertaining to read and it's refreshing to see a thread like this between the crap that is posted all the time

Two crits + one short (10km) time trial. Should be fun.
You just go ahead and jusify grabbing another man's rump any way you see fit. :laugh:Originally posted by: WinstonSmith

Form a leadout "train" and make things so fast for the last few laps that our sprinter doesn't have anyone left to deal with for the most part. Same thing Petacchi and his team do pretty much every flat-ish race. The non sprinters will cover the front for most of the race to keep breaks from going and then the rest of us will take over with 3-ish laps to go.Originally posted by: freegeeks

Probably more the Zanini guy since I'm not a bad sprinter. Ideally, i'll go 100% the last half-lap and leave the last 300m for our sprinter. Of course, this is dependent on everyone being in the right place at the right time....never an easy thing in crits.Originally posted by: freegeeks

where do you fit in? Are you a Zanini who pilots Boonen in the last 800m or are you the guy who has to destroy himself in the last 10km and ends 1 minute after the pack![]()
