Want to scan all my photos and some docs to store on PC and Online

well as the title states what a good software to scan about 1000 photos I just found I had in my possession and some family documents I want to add to my new collection.

I have a decent scanner with my Brother printer but unsure what software to use and where to keep them online for some selected people to view.

Let me post this for some feedback

I do like photobucket as I have acct there but will need to see how much I can store there for free and give other people access to to my photos.
I have the printing software that came with my brother printer thought there be a more powerful solution available printer I am using is shown here http://support.brother.com/g/b/faqtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=hll2380dw_us_as&src=faq

The software which comes with the Brother HL-L2380DW should be fine for scanning photos and documents.

Google Photos offers free unlimited storage when you select the “High Quality” setting. I can’t really tell the difference between their enhanced compression and a regular jpg. Certainly good enough for family and friends to view images you’ve scanned.

I see that through my cell phones I have used this stored a lot of old pictures but it also contains a lot of Album Covers that are mixed in also by the date they were added. Never edited Google Photos how can I just delete those covers that were added?
I will see if the Brother default will work but I just installed this program to help as well got this viewer and scanner to use as well http://www.faststone.org/download.htm
