Want to run windows XP in RAM

I heard today that you could run your os in RAM, and make things load faster. I have 1GB of ram so is there any way to run windows from the RAM?

You mean install the operating itself to ram?

Short answer: No.

That, and you would have to reinstall XP every time you restarted the computer :p

It is not more efficient to use memory to cache the OS vs's have the OS manage it. With the exception of the OS boot time (but instead you have the time required to fill the ram drive before you can boot)
