Want to replace the chipset HS/F

Zalman ZM47-- the blue thingie.

Only problem you might have is graphics card clearance-- I got one of these to go on my Neo4 Platinum, since its NB fan was a screamer, but my video cards extended too far towards the front of the case, and were basically resting on top of the low-profile stock heatsink/fan as it was. I've heard tell people bend the fins of this thing to get clearance; good luck.

The Zalman NB47J will work though you have to cut down some of the fins.

Due to the positioning of the northbridge on the dfi board the video card will intefere with this heatsink but you can bend or remove some of the fins and it still works fine.

A guy on another forum, think it was dfi-street, did this simply using long-nosed pliers to bend or break the respective fins, a metal hacksaw might make a neater job though.

This seems to be the preferred NB cooler replacement for the DFI board from DFI-street forums. It is much quieter than the stock fan, does not get in the way of the upper PCIe slot, and cools better. Some people caution using a passive cooler on the NF4 NB unless you have a fan pointed at it as it tends to run really hot, especially when overclocking. I don't have any personal experience there, but just for safty's sake I ordered the evercool.

How is this thing for noise? Right now my NB cooler is the loudest thing in there... is the ever cool any quieter?
