Want To Put C633 Into Abit LX6, But Need HELP!

A friend of mine has this old board that he wants to bump up from a C266. Is this doable?

I've seen Quiksel and WoundedWallet have given it a go with some success. WW even included a link to this beta BIOS page. Is there any other confirmation that this will work stabily?

Man, I would think this is a worthy "bang for the buck" cause here! Sorry for the bump, but I don't want to see him waste $40.00 for a CPU that won't work either.

Even if you don't know if it can work, it would still be nice to hear opinions about whether it's worth taking the chance on or not.
