Want to pick up COD:WAW PS3 to play campaign co-op - any reason not to?

I just got a PS3 and am looking forward to playing some games online with my buddy. He doesn't like the multiplayer side of the COD titles, but campaign and SpecOps/Zombie type stuff is fair game.

It looks like you can play the campaign online with co-op. I'm also reading there are some cool features like points scoring and unlockable perks/cheats.

Any reason not to pick this title up for $10 each? Seems like it would provide a good amount of fun for a while, not to mention Zombie mode!

I only ask because I know how the quality of titles can vary between consoles. I've played WAW some on 360, but not PS3.

In that case, then how about someone with a PS3 sell me their totally shitty worthless copy of WAW. I'm paying $10 plus $2 to cover shipping/packaging. Need 2 copies. Kthxbai

That might work, you never know.

I'm telling you though, there are better co-op options. Grab Rainbow 6: Vegas and Vegas 2, those were pretty entertaining.

Those might be cool actually, good call. I heard the SP campaigns on those were meh, but that could be fun co-op.

I don't understand the W@W hate. I enjoyed it, SP, MP and especially Zombies.
