Want to overclock my 1055T

Hello. I am new to these forums. I found alot of info about overclocking this cpu in particular. I have not overclocked before. I built a new system and it has great components. I have tried to get the cpu to overclock and have had no luck making it past 3.3Ghz. After everything I've read about the headroom for OC'ing, I know this can go much further.
I figured this would be the forum area I could ask for help on this. What info do I need to supply for help? Thanks for you help in advance.

CPU-AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
CPU COOLER-Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
MB-Gigabyte GA890GPA-UD3H
RAM-G.Skill RipJaws 16GB DDR3-1333
GC-ATI FirePro V4800
PSU-Antec TruePower TP-750
MAIN DRIVE-OCZ Vertex 2 120GB
OS-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Try HTT @ 250, CPU multi 14x. Make sure memory speed is at 1333. CPU voltage around 1.35v for starters, CPU-NB voltage 1.25v. Oh and make sure HT Link stays around 2000MHz.

After changing the settings, I could only get it to boot up with these settings. Take a look and let me know if I have something set wrong. Thanks.

This youtube video has all the info you need...
A bunch of your stuff is out of spec with those setting. Set everything back to default or auto and follow the video. Good luck!

I reset everything to default settings and made the changes that you called out. It booted fine and I'm at 3.5Ghz. What is the best plan of attack to increase the clock speed? Thanks.

disable smart fan control

To go higher you'll have to make sure your memory settings are stable. I like to stay around 1333 or 1600MHz for memory because I know my optimal timings.

Then bump up HTT while making sure your HTLink stays around 2000MHz.

I don't feel like reading the thread but I'll throw stuff in anyway.

1). Is turbo mode on? Regular multiplier is 14 but turbo is 16.5, so turbo would be 3300/14*16.5 = 3889mhz. You might need higher CPU voltage than expected to run at this speed.

2). Lots of motherboards don't like going past 230MHz bus. 230 bus would be 3220mhz

My 1055T is doing something like 235mhz bus with turbo enabled. The turbo is a nice way to get around having a shitty motherboard.
