Hello, I realized I don't really care if I break my ps2 anymore and I might as well mod it. I want to be able to backup my games and play them, so my roomates don't break them. Where do I learn about modding and best chip & place to buy chip. Thanks

Just get a set of SwapMagic discs + Tool.

Buddy of mine has this in my fraternity and just recently helped me install a flip top for my slim PS2. Now I have the images on my computer (to be burned at necessary) and all my original discs at home.

SwapMagic is by far the easiest way. (can your roomates handle taking out a disc and putting a new one in.....correctly???)
There use to be a completely solder-less one out there but i can't seem to find it anymore.

And BTW, the Xbox is were all the modding is at. Go get yourself an xbox, an Xecuter 3, and someone who can solder and your set.
