Using a Linksys wireless/wired router. The computer I want to limit is wired and running Windows 2000. Is there any software or any adjustments I could make to the router so I could limit it's upload speed?

If you have peer to peer network (The win98/XP type) it can not be done, unless you use special software on each one of the computers.

Never tried it myself. You can download and try.

Link to: NetLimiter is an ultimate internet traffic control.

Otherwise in order to control centrally all traffic has to go through one source.

One Source Can Be:

Manageable Switch.

Linux Server.

Win2000/2003 Server

Link to: Can I Monitor my LAN, control the usage of the Internet, and Network Resources by other computers from my main computer?

If I was using Linux on the computer I wanted to limit, would it be easier that way?

That works great, thanks... I may actually buy it when the trial is over =)
