Want to learn to OverClock

Wanting to learn how to OC a Duron 1.1, it's my old machine so i can risk it.

it's a 266FSB Duron.

I need to know what I need to OC and will i need 2100 or 2700 memory to do it, and what is the max i can OC at.

Basicly OC is done by changing the CPU multiplier or the CPU FSB. You do so in the BIOS. You have to check you're CPU temp and be sure to never go highter than a certain level ( you'll have to do some research for your CPU to find it ). Every time you OC you're CPU you have to run a little program called Prime95 to be sure your system is stable. Usually when the system is not stable you have to give a little bit more juice ( Voltage) to de CPU or RAM ( if you have OC your ram ). Each time you boost the CPU Mhz or the CPU Vcore your system will get more heat.

That's the basic....for more details just do some search on this forum. Plz don't ask us to do all the work for you 🙂
