want to know the general thing about FSB and PCI, IDE bus

I know that the default recommended speed of all the PCI and IDE is 33 Mhz. and the AGP 66 Mhz right? but what does higher front side bus do if always all the PCI should run at 33 Mhz? i mean whats the benefit if im using 100 Mhz than using 66 Mhz front side bus if only the PCI would still run at the same speed of 33 Mhz?

big difference in performance, even if your pci devices still run at 33mhz the rest of your system is running much faster (northbrige/ram/etc)
