I'm down to my 30 days before my subscription runs out, even if it run out according to the eula I'm still allowed to use it but I don't want to renew until I upgrade to NIS2006. So I was able to corner the plugin file that creates the annoying pop up that notifies you about the subscription that is going to expire in 30 days and I disabled it.

This is where it gets anal... the next time the renewal reminder pop-up get activated and once Norton sees that it's pop-up has disabled it goes into a "I've been tampered with mode" and shuts down all NAV services until you re-allow the pop-up... isn't this great of Mr. Norton.

In other words disable my annoying pop-up and I wont work.

I think it's time I vote with my wallet.

Makes sense to me. I probably would have done something similar, do an integrity check and if any of the parts fail shutdown and complain.
