I just downloaded and am running folding@home and I was wondering how I go about joining.Any help would be appreciated.

Just make sure you type in "198" when the client asks you what team you want to be on (that's the team ID number for Team AnandTech). Looking forward to seeing you rise in the stats soon. Oh, and be sure to check back occasionally, because there are project stats threads that get posted in the evening (well, the evening as far as GMT-5 is concerned). 😀

Thanks alot guys.It's great to be a part of the team!I entered "198" for my team number,anything else?I'm new to this so it's going to take me some tiime to learn the ropes,I am sure.

You may have already done this, but make sure that you have a unique username. That can be done by going to the Folding@Home user stats page and typing the name you (are using) / (plan to use) in the text box under the Name heading. If it comes back saying no users have that name, you're good to go.
