well yeah.

everyone knows that. look at what was it? the 72 mens basketball game? the winter olympics last year.

sure we know its tainted. wich is one reason people are loseing interest.

Anything involving humans is "tainted."

Let's face it, corruption happens. We can only hope to keep it in check. Show me a single organization that has ever existed that did not have some form of corruption.

Any sport, Olympic or otherwise, that uses judges to determine the winner is suspect by definition in my opinion.

Boxing is all about corruption so that's not surprising at all. Don't get me wrong I like to watch a big fight but the underhanded backstabbing way the sport is run turns me off much more than the senseless bloody violence of it all

You could say the same about any sport that uses referees.

Most referee calls are based on objective standards, though, while judges give subjective notions.
