want to go on road trip but where?

My friends and I (4 total) want to go on a road trip next week but don't know where. We're all in Rhode Island and have 2-4 days of free time. Any suggestions? We were thinking of Maine, New York, or Washington DC.

New York city is a lot of fun I'm heading up to Montreal tomorrow with some friends, it's great up there too

Another thing, how old are you and your friends? There really is a lot of nightlife in nyc if you're over 21, it's great! But if you're under 21 your best bet would be to head up to Canada since the legal age there 18. I'm over 21, but I'm still going to Montreal because it's fun.
