When you hear insurance, most people think of 2 things.

-selling insurance, and insurance companies not paying for your claim.

I personally believe that the insurance industry is not a really well respected job. It gets a bad rap, has a negative connotation, and the skills learned are only applicable in the insurance industry.

I currently work in a call center doing claims, and would like to get out.

My goal is really to get a more respected job title, decent pay( no need for six figures like 99% of the people here), and learn a skill that is valued not only in my current job, but that has a need for other companies as well.

example, all companies need accountants, budget analysts, MIS people, etc etc. Only insurance companies need insurance adjusters.

I'm not mentioning my education because I goofed off in college and earned a BA in mathematics, and below average GPA.

My work experience is good though. 3 years in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster, and have been a supervisor for almost a year.

I just dont know where to start. I"m not looking for a science career as I do not have the degree, but I want to get into the business sides of things, i.e corporate business, budget analysis, finance etc etc.

How do I move into this? with my experience, am I just destined to be in the insurance industry forever? Do I need to start over as an entry level person?

Consider that insurance is just a government sanctioned pyramid scheme, I'd say it's not a very well respected industry. A lot of money in it though, so you got that going for you, which is nice.

Understand that right now the part of business you want to get in is not doing very well at all. For now i would suggest you stay in insurance industry. Finance degree/account for sure would help you to get in to the market you're trying to get in (i have b.s. finance degree). I am sure someone here will be able to give you an actual specific advice on how to get in to that market and if you really do need to start over with your education.
