Yes, they will hire you. Everyone starts off somewhere, apply at them all and someone should call you.

Start at a grocery store. They'll hire just about anyone, the job itself isn't too hard, and if you get a cashier position it'll give you register experience if you want to move on to better jobs.

Yes, they will hire you. Working retail is what a lot of high school kids do.

Previous job experience shouldn't be an issue. Make sure you have a good resume that outlines your achievements (academic and extracurricular) and you should be set. Chances are they won't care about your GPA, but if you made honours or what not, it can't hurt to list things like that.

Yes, they will train you to use all the equipment and make all the drinks on the menu.

Edit2: My first job was at Old Navy. They trained me to use the cash registers, run the fitting rooms and other stuff you'll need. Surprisingly, I don't recall them teaching us how to fold but that could be a result of me not caring/paying attention.

Starbucks was a good place to work when I was in HS, since they paid a bit above min wage. Grocery stores will hire just about anyone, so it shouldn't be a problem getting a job there (I got a bag boy job at 15).

When its summer, consider construction and such. It might pay well and the work can be kinda interesting.

Heheh, this is something I just can't get used to. I'm 35, and when I was a kid there was no such thing, at least not enforced. Plenty of young teens (13-15) with jobs, many working full time.

If someone had told me I couldn't work just because I was 16 (or whatever) I probably would have laid them flat, just on principle.
